Tripoli mayor Nader Ghazal said on Monday that raid operations recently performed by the Lebanese Armed Forces had positive effects on the ground, stressing that forces are keen on implementing security. Ghazal told Nharkom Said that "Tripoli has a difficult social reality". He accused the cabinet of neglecting the city and not providing it with developing projects. Ghazal stressed that social and educational aspects are absent in Tripoli, noting that someone is hindering the implementation of projects. "We hope that the government will take effective measures and that all the politicians will come down to earth and live the misery of the people", Ghazal added.
