Sleiman and Kahwaji tackle Tripoli situation
LAF Commander Jean Kahwaji briefed President Michel Sleiman on the measures taken by the army across the country, especially in Tripoli, in order to contain the situation, curb violations and bring perpetrators to justice.      

Kahwaji also informed Sleiman of the efforts being exerted to release all the kidnapped in Lebanon.    

On another note, President Sleiman headed a meeting for the committee assigned with preparing for Pope Benedict VI's visit to Lebanon.
