Qmati to LBCI: WhatsApp decision is neither rational nor logical
State Minister for Parliament Affairs Mahmoud Qmati said on Thursday to LBCI that Hezbollah did not approve the tax on WhatsApp because it affects the entire Lebanese people, stressing that the decision is “neither rational nor logical.”

“We are surprised how a matter that was just for discussion became a decision,” he said in reference to the WhatsApp fee.

Commenting on the demonstrations in various Lebanese regions, Qamati stressed that people have the right to demonstrate and to demand that the government resigns, pointing out that the party's intention to fight corruption continues.
