What to do if hit by tear gas?

The American University of Beirut Medical Center published on social media platforms instructions and advice of what to do in the event of exposure to tear gas.

- Hold your breath

- Move away from the gas source to a well-ventilated area.

- Wash your eyes with plenty of water for 15 minutes.

- Be sure to remove your lenses (if you are wearing them)

- Be sure to wash the entire body with cold water to get rid of the gas effects.
