Caretaker Energy Minister Nada Boustani commented on the launch of a tender related to the import of fuel, stating that they conducted the tender in order to avoid burdening the citizens with further financial weight.
She added that it their duty to find a solution for the Lebanese citizens, stressing that they are seeking to avoid a crisis related to gasoline shortage.
Boustani emphasized that this matter is not related to politics or what is happening in the streets.
