Positive indicators revealed in the Lebanese hostages case
Exclusive sources told LBCI on Saturday that all indicators show a positive turn in the case of the ten Lebanese hostages in Syria.

In this context, the sources confirmed to LBCI that the hostages will not return to Lebanon without anything in return, and a statement is expected to be issued on Sunday by the legal-security committee charged with following up on the Lebanese hostages case.

According to the sources, the statement is expected to be positive and to include a reply to the demand of the Association of Muslim Scholars to release the hostages. Accordingly, meetings will be held today between a delegation from the above-mentioned association and Sheikh Salem al-Rafei in Syria.

In this regard, the kidnappers reportedly put pre-conditions that are not related to Lebanon to release the Lebanese men.

Contacts between Sheikh Salem al-Rafei and members of the Association of Muslim Scholars in Syria went on until late at night.
