LBCI chairman Pierre Daher to partake in Saudi Media Forum

LBCI Chairman Pierre El Daher will participate in the “Saudi Media Forum” which is organized by the Saudi Press Association and will be held over two consecutive days (December 2 and 3) at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel alongside a selection of speakers and experts in the media industry.

The event is considered the largest event of its kind in the region and will be held in the presence of more than one thousand local, Arab and international media professionals.

Daher will partake in one of its session that will discuss the future of the television industry in the era of on-demand viewing.

Former President of Saudi Broadcasting Corporation Abdulrahman Al Hazza'a, former president of Saudi Arabia’s General Commission of Audiovisual Media and current lecturer at the College of Information and Communication at the Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University Rida bin Mohammed Al-Haidar, General Manager of Bloomberg Asharq channel Nabil al-Khatib and chairman of the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI) Pierre Daher will all partake in the session that will moderated by Najwa Asran from CNBC Arabia.

The session that will be held on December 3, will discuss the challenges facing television in the light of the growing alternatives to viewing, through digital platforms and the future prospects.
