Minister of Energy Nada Boustani announced on Monday morning the extension of the tender offer by the state to import gasoline by one week and that for more competition.

Boustani’s comments were made during a press conference whereby she said that decision was taken after two companies requested extension.

On another note, Boustani voiced hopes that the Banque Du Liban would deal with the Energy Ministry as a public sector and not as a private ones in terms of opening credits in US dollars.
