MP Hady Hbeish said on Sunday that he asked Mount Lebanon Public Prosecutor Judge Ghada Aoun 11 times to explain how she decided to arrest Director-General of the Traffic and Vehicles Management Authority Hoda Salloum, without receiving an answer.
In a press conference he held to explain the details of what happened with Judge Aoun, Hbeish pointed out that “Judge Aoun kicked him out of her office,” adding that it is true that he raised his voice during the discussion, but the judge does not have the right to film and leak videos.
The deputy stated that Salloum was informed of the arrest decision without being asked any question by Judge Aoun and without any case, explaining that she is not arrested but her freedom is taken away.
“Speaker Nabih Berri called me and asked me about what happened after Judge Aoun called him and told him that I attacked her,” he revealed, noting that briefed Berri on the events that took place.
