Calm prevails over Tripoli after yesterday’s events-[VIDEO]

Calm prevailed on Wednesday over the northern city of Tripoli after yesterday’s events at night.

This as the Lebanese Armed Forces Intelligence Branch arrested 8 people, 4 of them confessed of partaking in yesterday’s riot outside the residence of Mufti of Tripoli and the North Sheikh Malek al-Shaar and burning the Christmas tree at the al-Nini roundabout.

Moreover, it appeared that arrest warrants are issued against the four others for shooting and carrying out attacks.

At today’s dawn, unknown people burned the Christmas tree at the al-Nini roundabout in Tripoli.

Also, a number of young men at dawn attacked the security room of Mufti of Tripoli and the North Sheikh Malek al-Shaar and set it on fire.
