Ferzli to LBCI: I support formation of a non-political Cabinet

Deputy Speaker Elie Ferzli said on Friday that he supports the formation of a non-political Cabinet in order “to restore the confidence of the Lebanese people and the International community and the deal with the country’s social, economic and financial problems.”

Ferzli’s comments were made during an interview with Nharkom Said TV show whereby he said that Prime Minister-Designate Hassan Diab should not pick any ministers that are provocative in his Cabinet lineup.

On another note, he noted that his phone call with US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs David Hale tackled ways to form a Cabinet that satisfies the International public opinion.
