PM Diab: Dismissal of Salameh is not currently on the table

Prime Minister Hassan Diab said on Wednesday that he met with several foreign ambassadors and they all expressed their readiness to cooperate with his government.

He also confirmed during a chat with the journalists in the Serail that “the dismissal of Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh is not currently on the table.”

Diab assured the reporters that he would meet the Mufti of Dar al-Fatwa very soon.

“There are 3 to 4 ministers in the government that represent the uprising movement, but the government, as a whole, represents the movement,” Diab added.
