Christian spiritual summit held in Bkerke
A Christian spiritual summit was held on Tuesday in Bkerke headed by Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai.
Following the summit, a statement was issued in which the spiritual leaders said that the new government must “gain the confidence of the Lebanese people, the International community and donors.
They also urged the political leaders follow up on the government’s work with a positive spirit “so that the government can be dedicated to implementing the reforms.”
On another note, the statement called on the protesters to allow the government to assume its responsibilities, so that the evaluation of its work will be realistic and objective."
