Plumbly says UN committed to improve Palestinians’ conditions in Lebanon
The UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Derek Plumbly stressed on Thursday that the UN is committed to carry on with its help in improving the humanitarian, social and economic situation of the Palestinians in Lebanon, in complete coordination with the Lebanese authorities.

During a tour at Bourj al-Barajneh Palestinian camps, Plumbly noted that there are many complications faced by the camps’ residents, praising the efforts deployed by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) on a daily basis.

Plumbly said that he was looking forward to further work in coordination with the UNRWA, the Lebanese-Palestinian dialogue committee and the Lebanese government.
