MEA temporarily suspends flights to and from KSA, Kuwait and Qatar

The Middle East Airlines issued on Monday a statement in which it said that it has temporarily suspended flights to and from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar until further notice.

The statement added that the decision comes “in light of the decisions taken by some countries regarding travel bans to avoid the spread of the new CORONA virus (COVID-19).”

“In order to provide maximum support and comfort to passengers, MEA has decided to waive all penalties related to ME tickets Refund and/or Rebooking and/or No-show,” the statement noted.

The MEA also stressed that the waiver shall apply on ME tickets to all destinations until 31st of March 2020 inclusive.
