Health Minister Hassan: Focus should be done on abiding by Health Ministry instructions

Minister of Health Hamad Hassan said on Thursday that focus should be done on abiding by the measures and instructions issued by the Ministry of Health and the medical sides.

Hassan’s comments were made during a press conference in which he noted that the Lebanese people are aware of the current situation and are bearing their responsibility.
“The anti-coronavirus committee on declared Wednesday what look a lot like a civil health emergency,” he added.

For his part, head of the parliamentary health committee MP Issam Araji said that there are 500 breathing apparatuses in Lebanon, adding that Coronavirus complications must be prevented.

“We started implementing plan B and 8 new governmental hospitals across the country are being prepared to receive Coronavirus cases,” he added.

Araji concluded by calling on everyone to stand united in combating the Coronavirus.
