Source to Reuters: US probes suspicious oil trades made before shifts in Trump’s stance on Iran

A source familiar with the matter said that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission is investigating a series of oil futures trades made shortly before major policy shifts by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the war with Iran.

The source added that the investigation is focusing on at least two instances that occurred on March 23 and April 7.
