Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon, buried at sea
The remains of U.S. astronaut Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon, were buried at sea on Friday, a day after Americans bid him farewell in a memorial service at the Washington National Cathedral

Armstrong's widow Carol Armstrong committed the remains to sea from the deck of the USS Philippine Sea in the Atlantic Ocean.

Armstrong, a former Navy flyer and test pilot, died at age 82 following complications from cardiovascular procedures.
