Aoun: We condemn the offense of religions
The head of Change and Reform bloc MP Michel Aoun condemned on Tuesday the anti-Islam film and the offense of religions, praising the stance of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in regards to this matter.

In this context, Aoun also denounced the assassination of the American ambassador to Libya and US foreign policy as a whole.

In a statement issued following the bloc's weekly meeting, Aoun "slammed the ongoing wave of abductions in Lebanon," adding that there is a "flagrant defect in this regard".

Commenting on reports stating the presence of Iranian Revolutionary guards in Lebanon, Aoun said that these statements are "part of a media disinformation campaign".

On the electoral law, Aoun stressed that the Orthodox Gathering's medium district electoral draft law had been agreed upon during the Bkerke meeting.

Commenting on LF Cheif Samir Geagea's comments regarding the draft law, Aoun asked: "How am I to provide Geagea a winning majority when he supports the smaller districts law?"

"What has become of the smaller districts law? Or is it only a deviating maneuver," Aoun asked.
