Diab takes part in follow-up committee meeting on military measures

Prime Minister Hassan Diab took part Tuesday morning, at the Grand Serail, in the meeting of the Follow-up Committee on military measures.

The meeting included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Zeina Akar, Minister of Finance Ghazi Wazni, Minister of the Interior and Municipalities Mohammad Fahmi, Lebanese Armed Forces Commander General Joseph Aoun, Director General of the Presidential Palace Antoine Choucair, Judge Mahmoud Makiyé, Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council of ministers, Major-General Imad Othman, Director General of the Internal Security Forces, General Abbas Ibrahim, Director General of General Security, Major General Tony Saliba, Director General of State Security, Brigadier General Tony Mansour, Director of Army Intelligence, Brigadier General Boulos Matar and Brigadier General Youssef el-Khoury Hanna.

The discussions have focused on procedures relating to measure No. 3, taking into account the opinion of military services and the Ministry of Finance in this regard.
