The Lebanese government extended the lockdown until May 24th with concerns of another wave of coronavirus hitting Lebanon.

Mosques and churches are permitted to hold Friday and Sunday prayers starting this week, stated a circular issued by Minster of Interior Mohammad Fahmi.

Religious establishments are permitted to hold ceremonies on these days, so long as they operate at 30 percent of their welcoming capacity.
