Rina Chibani crowned Miss Lebanon 2012, twin sister 1st runner up

Rina Chibani was crowned Miss Lebanon 2012 on Saturday evening while her twin sister Romy Chibani was elected first runner-up.      

The ceremony was organized by LBCI and held on Saturday evening at Platea theater in Jounieh under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism.     

Miss Lebanon 2011, Yara Khoury Mikhael handed over the crown to Rina.  

Rina was chosen among 16 young women aged between 18 and 24. She hails from Zahle and is a 5th year Interior Design student at Université Saint-Esprit (Kaslik). She weighs 54 kg and is 178 cm tall (5'10''). As for her twin sister Romy, she obtained her BA in nutrition and general health from the same university.       
A jury composed of 9 members evaluated the contestants; it included former Miss Universe Georgina Rizk, Former Minister Ziad Baroud, Singer Nancy Ajram and Lebanese Champion Maxime Chaaya.    

The results of the contest came as follows:    

- Fourth runner-up: Joanne Semaan      

- Third runner up: Elsa Maria Estefan    

- Second runner-up: Christina Lotfi      

- First runner-up: Romy Chibani

Star Wael Kfoury performed his latest hits during the ceremony.
