Abbas discusses Israeli position with Jordanian PM

Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas met with Jordanian Prime Minister Fayez al-Tarawneh in Ramallahon Thursday and discussed Palestine's "intransigent" position and bilateral relations.

The Palestinian Authority issued a statement, in which it stressed that Abbas met with Tarawneh and discussed the latest developments of the peace process and the deadlock it has reached due to Israel's uncompromising position and its rejection to commit to international resolutions and to end the settlement activity in the Palestinian territory, especially in Jerusalem.
