Man and wife attacked during their sleep

Two masked assailants entered overnight Thursday the house of 60-year-old citizen Hussein Hassan Mouallem, from the balcony, in the town of Kfarremmen. The assailants attacked Mouallem and his wife Mariam, and started beating them with batons during their sleep.

Mouallem and his wife were taken to Annajda al-Chaabiya Hospital at dawn for treatment, while members from Criminal Evidence teams and security forces rushed to the scene and launched investigations to uncover the identity of the assailants and the circumstances behind the attack.
