Moussawi: Future bloc wants electoral law allowing it to usurp the majority
Loyalty to the Resistance MP Nawaf Moussawi said Sunday that the Future bloc is trying to exploit the upcoming parliamentary elections to finish off political and intellectual plurality “at a time when the U.S. and Israel are still seeking to eliminate the resistance.”

During the inauguration of an artesian well in the town of Aytit, Moussawi said that some are searching for an electoral law that would evict the Free Patriotic Movement from the Christian scene and abolish Hezbollah and Amal “whose wide representation goes beyond the Shiite community and other sects.”

“The Future bloc wants an electoral law that would enable it to usurp the majority as a prelude to usurping power, taking over Lebanon and turning it into an annexed emirate or a base among U.S. bases in the region”, he said.
