Gunfire exchange in Fanar between drug dealers and partisans, injuries reported
A gunfire exchange took place around midnight at the outskirts of Fanar, Mount Lebanon, between unidentified assailants using light machine guns. Security forces rushed to the scene, but the gunmen were able to escape.

It was later revealed that the gunfire was a result of a dispute which erupted between drug dealers and partisans from the region, leaving several injured.

Separately, in Hay al-Sollom, gunfire exchange was reported around midnight, between members of Zaayter family and others from the Nasereddine family, also using light machine guns. When the security forces arrived to the scene, the gunmen escaped and became subject to pursuit.
