Army begins deployment in Bekaa, raids suspicious areas

The Lebanese army began the implementation of its deployment plan in the Bekaa region since 3:00 AM on Wednesday as military units took positions in different locations, set up checkpoints and raided several suspicious areas.      

The LAF set up a checkpoint in Britel and spread its forces through several regions and towns in a bid to crackdown lawlessness.        

The raids of suspicious sites continued till the early hours of the day.
