The head of the Higher Judicial Council Judge Jean Fahed and State Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi swore in before President Sleiman at the Baabda palace following the issuance of the decree appointing them in their posts.

The Higher Judicial Council convened Wednesday in a session under the chairmanship of newly appointed President Judge Jean Fahed.                       

Among the meeting's attendees were newly appointed State Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Committee Akram Baasiri, and Judges Antoine Daher, Joseph Samaha, Souheir Harake, Marie Denise Maouchi, Reda Raad, Ossama Lahham, and Mirna Baida.
