Berri responds to Geagea, says he is the one bearing him

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri received on Thursday the Mufti of Tripoli and the North, Sheikh Malek Chaar, and discussed the general situation, particularly in the North.

On the other hand, Berri said "I am the one bearing him," in reference to the Lebanese Forces leader, Samir Geagea, who said he would not stand Berri in the 2013 elections earlier on Thursday.

Berri's remark came in response to a question about Geagea's statement, following his meetings today in Ain-el-Tineh.
