Geagea calls on cabinet to resign immediately

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea held on Saturday a press conference to denounce the assassination of Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan, where he called on the cabinet to resign immediately. He also called on MP Walid Jumblatt's ministers in particular, to resign in order to assume the responsibility of such incident and to stop covering crimes.

In this context, Geagea urged the Arab community to assume its responsibility towards the Lebanese people, to lift the cover off the cabinet, to suspend all deals and agreements with Syria and to expel the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon. He also demanded the deployment of international forces along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Geagea called on the supporters of the Lebanese Forces to participate heavily in the funeral of Wissam al-Hassan on Sunday and to raise the Lebanese flags.
