Sleiman meets various officials, discusses expat vote

President Michel Sleiman met on Thursday with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour at the Baabda Palace and discussed the latest developments concerning the participation of the expatriates in the upcoming elections.

He also met with Information Minister Walid Daouk and discussed the measures taken to control political rhetoric in the country.

On the other hand, former Minister Adnan al-Kassar informed the President of the economic committees' support for the call for dialogue to avoid political void and its repercussions.

Separately, Sleiman received former Minister Mansour al-Bon and discussed the latest developments on the local scene, and met later on with the President of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Jean Fahed, and Public Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi.
