Harb for the formation of a neutral gvt tasked with preparing for elections

MP Boutros Harb stressed the necessity of forming a neutral government which would be tasked with preparing for the upcoming parliamentary elections. He called for pulling Lebanon out of the "danger zone which is facilitating the import of the Syrian crisis to neighboring countries."

During a series of meetings held in the United States, Harb said that the government of PM Najib Mikati was not able to commit to the self-distancing policy it claims it has adopted, adding that it now poses a serious threat to Lebanon’s security.

“The assassination of Major General Wissam Hassan was a huge loss for Lebanon in terms of security control," he said.
