Hezbollah rejects Geagea's accusations pertaining to Hassan's assassination

The media relations office of Hezbollah rejected on Thursday the remarks made by Lebanese Forces Chief Samir Geagea, noting that "Geagea, who is sentenced and convicted with a series of crimes he committed against the Lebanese people, individuals and groups, mainly the assassination of former PM Rashid Karami, has launched false accusations against Hezbollah pertaining to the assassination of Brig. Gen. Wissam Hassan."

Hezbollah's media relations office denounced in a statement, the remarks and slanders made by Geagea, adding that Geagea's accusations are a blatant attempt to "pour fuel to the fire of sectarian sedition to increase tension in the country."

Hezbollah said that "such accusations are rejected by any reasonable and patriotic citizen and are only accepted by those who tend to offer a free service to the Israeli enemy and its criminal plans."
