Safadi: Cabinet continues with deputies’ confidence

Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi stressed on Monday that the cabinet will continue its work with the confidence granted by Parliament. Safadi noted that change will only come to cabinet when a general political consensus exists in the country.

Following his meeting with Prime Minister Najib Mikati, Safadi hoped that an agreement between the Lebanese parties will be reached; noting that in some cases certain circumstances may arise and prevent agreements on general issues from taking place.

On the other hand, PM Mikati also met with General Prosecutor Judge Hatem Madi.
