Qortbawi: No compromise in case of counterfeit medicine

Justice Minister Shakib Qortbawi said on Monday that the time has come to take a rational stand and reconsider the results of harsh rhetoric in the country.

In an Interview to VDL radio station, Qortbawi called for unity among Lebanese factions in support of the Lebanese Army, stressing the importance of civil peace.

Commenting on the issue of counterfeit medicine, Qortbawi said that “the Judiciary has kicked off investigations since October, and a meeting will be held today at the Justice Ministry between Health Minister and the General Prosecutor to follow up on the case,” pointing that there will be no compromise in this regard.
