Amin Gemayel: We cannot accept half authority for LAF over Lebanese territory

Kataeb leader Amin Gemayel declared on Sunday that the Lebanese people must not accept half dignity, half sovereignty or half authority for the Lebanese Army over the Lebanese territory; however, we must seek full authority.      

Gemayel stressed that Kataeb will remain the spearhead that defends the principles and values for which March 14 parties fight, and the martyrs of the Cedar Revolution died. “Only death can tear us apart,” he added.          

A holy mass was held at St. Antonius in Jdeideh in commemoration of the 6th anniversary for the martyrdom of the Minister Pierre Gemayel.            

A march kicked off from Mar Takla square in Sad El Bouchrieh to the memorial status of martyr minister Pierre Gemayel near the Church of St. Antonius in Jdeideh, on the anniversary of his martyrdom.                        

Kataeb party supporters flocked from several regions and gathered in St. Antonius Church to participate in the holy mass. A number of political and religious figures were also present in the church.
