Future Bloc: We support productive dialogue capable of protecting Lebanon

The Future Bloc stressed on Thursday its support for a productive dialogue which can protect Lebanon and its national interests, reiterating its calls for toppling the current government "controlled by Hezbollah," and stating that Hezbollah committed neither to the decisions issued by the dialogue sessions, nor to the Baabda Declaration.

In a statement issued following its weekly meeting, the Future bloc called for the formation of a new national "rescue" cabinet capable of preparing for the upcoming parliamentary elections.

On the other hand, the Future Bloc expressed surprise towards the fact that no indictment was issued against Samaha, warning that the judiciary may be subject to political pressure.

However, the Future bloc urged all supporters to participate heavily in the 40th day remembrance of late Brig. Gen. Wissam Hassan, in a ceremony held on Sunday at Rashid Karami International Fair Complex.
