Mikati, Clinton's assistant discuss means to assist Syrian refugees in Lebanon

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati met on Thursday with United States Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Anne Richard at the Grand Serail, in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs Wael Abou Faour, Minister of Education Hassan Diab and the US ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly.

Mikati discussed with his guests the issue of the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and means offered for Lebanon in order for it to be capable of assisting the refugees.

The meeting coincides with the conference which will be held by the donor countries to help the Syrian refugees in Lebanon, next Monday under the chairmanship of PM Najib Mikati.
