REPORT: New violations revealed in file of counterfeit medicine

The scandals arising from the counterfeit medicine file do not seem to end anytime soon, and once the file was opened, the violations started to appear one after the other.

The forged laboratory reports do not confirm the presence of counterfeit medicine; however they pose doubts over the issue, especially that the source of these medicines is not their main factory. In fact, the most dangerous fact is that a great number of these medicines are being sold to hospitals for cheap prices.

In this context, former MP Ismail Sukkariyah said that more than 400 kinds were forged following the authorization of Pharmacist Inspection Service and the Ministry of Health, noting that the Arab University was unjustly accused.
