Head of Free Patriotic Movement MP Gebran Bassil received on Wednesday French Ambassador Anne Grillo, and discussed the political situation, the importance of completing the constitutional entitlements on time, the necessity of implementing reforms and executing the financial recovery plan.
Bassil explained the efforts made by the FPM to recover the transferred funds after October 17, 2019. He pointed out that the Strong Lebanon Bloc had proposed a law in the House of Representatives for this purpose, noting that recovering those transferred funds would enable the payment of all the money of small depositors.
Bassil also received Swiss ambassador Marion Weichelt and discussed with her the general situation and the bilateral relation.
