Fatfat: The problem with Mikati is not personal, but political

Future bloc MP Ahmad Fatfat held the Cabinet responsible for the political stalemate in the country and the paralysis of its institutions.

Speaking to Voice of Lebanon "Voice of Freedom and Dignity", he said that the leading figures of March 14 will hold a meeting at MP Boutros Harb’s residence to deliberate on the legality of Speaker of the House Nabih Berri's call for the parliamentary committees to hold meetings to discuss a new electoral law.

He accused the government of proposing an unjust electoral law to parliament.

"The problem with Mikati is not personal but rather based on the political choices he has taken. It is difficult for Mikati to become the head of a transitional Cabinet because of his nomination in the elections unless he changes his mind about running for the elections."
