Alfa Telecom employee charged with espionage released on bail
               
The National News Agency reported Thursday that an Alfa Employee was released on bail after he was imprisoned on charges of collaborating with Israel.                 
The subject, Charbel Kazzi was released after a payment of 10 Mln LBP was made on his behalf.               

Kazzi was arrested in July 2010 and sentenced to 7 years hard labor on December 2011.                 

He was charged with passing on information to Israeli spies that aided the Jewish state in its 2006 war against Hezbollah.          

After the arrest of Kazzi, several other telecom sector employees were detained on charges of espionage.
