Military judiciary denies arrest of military men after attempted Roumieh prison break

The Military Judiciary denied that any arrests were made against any officers interrogated in the foiled prison break attempt, adding that the military personnel who were interrogated in the case were put under house arrest.

Earlier, reports emerged that Assistant Government Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Dany Zaani arrested 4 military personnel and 14 military men on charges of neglectful duty whilst guarding the prison’s B bloc.

Zaani reportedly convicted them of “negligence and violating military instructions" and the case was said to be referred to Military Investigating Judge.
