REPORT: How is Maher al-Meqdad's family living in his absence?

Normality did not leave the house of Maher al-Meqdad; in fact, his family lives normally despite the absence of the "head of the clan."

Maher al-Meqdad was arrested on the 13th of September 2012, while the Army intelligence had arrested two other people on charges of kidnapping. Since then, the case has not seen any development.

In this context, Meqdad's attorney had presented many release requests, without receiving any reply.

However, the protests, sit-ins and contacts did not lead to any acceleration in finalizing the case, but only promises and dates for trials, the last one of which was on the 18th of December.
