REPORT: Will the Kataeb party meet Sleiman's call for dialogue?

Deputy Head of Kataeb party Sejaan Azzi declared that the dialogue is the culture of the party and supporting the initiatives of the President is among its fundamental principles, noting on the other hand that the "ball is in March 8's court, especially Hezbollah that blew up the defense strategy."

Azzi told LBCI that President Michel Sleiman must create a new climate so the dialogue would become possible and takes place on the seventh of January, stressing that Sleiman will not take the risk of calling for a dialogue session without being sure that all the parties will attend.

While Azzi confirmed that the stance of the Kataeb party is independent of that of its allies, he said that coordination is ongoing concerning the dialogue.
