The world closed another year that brought major developments and crucial changes in some countries. Like every year, celebrations rocked the world to welcome the New Year with hope for a better world.           

In the German capital Berlin, the sky was filled with colorful fireworks watched by more than one million spectators who danced the “Gangnam style” dance.         

The Russian midnight turned to midday with lights that illuminated the Red Square and Kremlin surroundings.             

The Khalifa Tower, the world’s highest tower, presented one of the most amazing shows in the world with the participation of around one million spectators, who were mostly tourists.                     

In France, the unstable economic situation did not prevent thousands of tourists from gathering in Paris’ Squares to celebrate the New Year, while the Italians gathered in Rome’s squares.                 

On the other hand, and under the rain, the Spain’s capital Madrid witnessed a hysterical joy during the New Year’s celebrations.            

However, in London when the Big Bang clock declared the beginning of 2013, it presented impressive shows.
