Palestinian woman dies when hit by car; accident provokes protests

An old Palestinian woman from Jall al-Baher camp near Tyr was killed when hit by a speeding car on Sunday.

The accident provoked angry protest by refugees who closed the highway with burning tires. They were soon cleared off by the army with no further reports of casualties.
