REPORT: UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador visits refugees in Bekaa

UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Mia Farrow visited the Syrian refugees in the Bekaa and called for increasing the aid sent to the displaced.

During a press conference, Farrow stressed that she is working on raising awareness among the people to urge them to help the refugees who were forced to leave their country and houses without committing any guilt, especially that 75% of them are women and children.

In this context, UNRWA Director General for the Near East, Ann Desmor met with the Labor Minister Salim Jreissati and discussed the situation of the Palestinians refugees.
