Fatah and Hamas to resume talks next week

Palestinian parties Fatah and Hamas are expected to resume next week their efforts to settle details of a unity government which will be headed by President Mahmoud Abbas, a Palestinian official reported on Wednesday.

The source said that officials from Hamas and Fatah will meet in Cairo on January 30 to discuss details of upcoming Palestinian elections and the formation of a government including members of both factions.
