A new hike in oil prices predicted for this week

The vice president of the Lebanese oil consortium Dania Aoun predicted a new increase in oil prices this week, noting that gasoline prices will rise by 600 LBP and that of fuel oil by 300 LBP.

In a phone call with Nharkom Said, Dania stressed that the hike in oil prices will continue over the three coming weeks, pointing out that Lebanon is affected by price fluctuations in world markets since it imports fuel.

In this context, Dania said that no one can limit price increases since the imports are done according to the price of a barrel of Brent oil.
